Mythology: Airmed was one of the Tuatha de Danaan in the Irish mythological cycles, and was known for her prowess in healing those who fell in battle. It is said that the world's healing herbs sprouted from Airmed's tears as she wept over her fallen brother's body. She is known in Irish legend as the keeper of the mysteries of herbalism.

 

The Herbs:
PEPPERMINT  (Mentha piperita) - May support gastrointestinal tract, gallbladder, bile ducts and specifically healthy bowel function. May promote digestive health and have a soothing effect on the stomach.*

DANDELION ROOT (Taraxacum officinale) - Can be used for appetite discomforts like bloating and gas. It may be effective for disturbances in bile flow, loss of appetite, and for dyspeptic problems. It is also used to enhance digestion, and support liver and gallbladder function.*

YARROW (Achillea millefolium) -  May stimulate digestion and help to tone gastric organs. May help relax the smooth muscles of the stomach and intestines.*

LEMON BALM (Melissa officinalis) - May help to calm the nervous system and promote comfort for mild and occasional digestive distress.*

CHAMOMILE (Matricaria recutita) - Can be used to treat flatulent nervous dyspepsia, travel sickness, nasal catarrh, nervous diarrhea, and gastrointestinal disturbances. May help relax digestive tract and strengthen digestive functions.*

FENNEL SEED (Foeniculum vulgare) An aromatic carminative that has a licorice-like taste and may help relieve gas, bloating, bad breath and constipation. Stimulates digestion.*
